San Francisco Airport - Ground Transponder Update

Dear Ground Transportation Tenants:

As of March 1, 2011, the Ground Transportation Unit will no longer be installing windshield transponders onto your vehicles. Roof mounted transponders will be the only option available to you in either black or white to closely resemble your vehicle's exterior paint.

We are currently in the beginning stages of implementing the new Ground Transportation Management System which will include many benefits for you and the Airport. One of the upgrades will include a new variety of transponders. Information on these transponders will be provided in future communication broadcasts.

We look forward to this exciting transition and appreciate your patience while we move forward into the next generation of ground transportation technology.
