GCLA Board member Rod Respicio attended the annual meeting with the San Francisco Airport and Limousine Permittees. The meeting was held on March 15, 2010 in Terminal conference room A. Items on the agenda were:
- Proposed Fiscal Year 2010/2011 Limousine Trip Fee
- Ground Transportation Permit Processing Unit Operations
- Summary of Limousine Enforcement Activities
Rod reports that they mostly tried to stay on topic with this agenda and didn't really want to talk about the previous notice sent on 11/12/09 about the Clean Air Vehicle Policy that they are trying to implement at SFO in the near future.
Some of the items discussed and announced at the meeting were:

- Terminal 2 - Renovations should be completed by & projected to open in March 2011.
a)Virgin America (currently located at the International terminal) will move to Terminal 2 along with American Airlines (currently located at Terminal 3). - American Airlines space at Terminal 3 will close down for renovations after moving to Terminal 2.
a) After renovations are completed, Continental Airlines will move there. - Limousine Zones at Terminals 1 & 3 (yellow zone area) is paid by the Curbside Management Program and managed by a third party operator at "peak time only"
a) Limousine Staging Lot off of the San Bruno Ave. exit across from the United Maintenance building is not being charged from the Curbside Management Program and is "free" for limousine operators from the GTU. - Limousine Operators are now allowed to Pick Up clients upstairs (Departure level) as of last year in addition to the Limousine Zones at the lower level (Arrivals).
a) Loop fees are increasing to $3.50/loop.
b) There is a 20 minute time frame for the 1st loop before being charged another loop fee.
c) "Looping" around the terminal many times is not recommended when trying to pick up clients. Suggest that operators contact clients on where to meet so that they can be picked up within the 1st to 2nd loop. - GTMS - will be the new AVI System being implemented at this time. New features will include Online account access, permit renewals, check account status, billing & payments.
- Terminal 2 - Renovations should be completed by & projected to open in March 2011.
