Greater California Livery Association - Committees

Legislative Committee Chairperson - Jonna Sabroff, Co-Chairs Alan Shanedling - Chris Quinn - Rich Azzolino- Kevin Illingworth- Establishes and maintains relations between our local industry the various airports, the California Public Utilities Commission and legislative bodies that affect us. The committee will exchange support with other local/regional and state associations, as well as national associations and provides assistance and information to the industry.

Airport Committees (See Airport Committee List) Beginning in January 2006 the GCLA Airport Committees will begin interacting with the Director of Land-side Operations at the following major airports: San Diego, John Wayne, Long Beach, Ontario, LAX, Burbank, Palm Springs, San Francisco, Oakland, San Jose and Sacramento.

Public Relations / Promotions / Website Development / Web Advertising Committee Chairperson - Brandan Stein, Co-Chairs Rod Respicio - Jack Nissim - The Public Relations / Venue Committee will be liaison between the GCLA and the major newspapers throughout the State of California.

Venue / Events / Expo Committee Chairperson - Mark Stewart, Co-Chairs Brandan Stein - Kevin Illingworth - Rod Respicio - Jorge Rodriguez - Brian Whitlock-The Venue Committee will be the point of contact with all major entertainment venues and for all industry Award Shows.

Membership Chairperson - David Lathbury, Co-Chairs Chris Quinn- Jack Nissim - Brian Whitlock - The Membership Committee will expand the awareness of the association and its services to the livery industry throughout the State of California.The Committeewill communicate to the GCLA membership while encouraging companies to join the association for the greater good of its member companies and the industry at large.

Program Chairperson - Mark Stewart, Co-Chairs - Rich Azzolino- Jorge Rodriguez - The Program Committee will arrange educational programs and speakers for the GCLA’s formal meetings throughout the year. It’s goal is to expand the content of information presented to the members regarding issues such as labor management, time organization, accounting, marketing, financial planning and current technology related to our industry. The Program Committee will also host and plan seminar sessions for San Francisco, Los Angeles, Orange County and San Diego during 2008.

Finance Chairperson - Jack Nissim, Co-Chair - Alan Shanedling - The Finance Committee will investigate and recommend avenues to manage all the financial affairs of the association. It will also track all income and expenses of the association.
